Support Local Businesses

When Covid lockdowns first started, Omar Masroor, owner of Bistro Aracosia, called and said he needed to do something to help - he wanted to donate 50 meals a day to those who were suffering. We helped arrange some opportunities; and he’s been donating meals to shelters and those in need for almost eight months. It's not something he talks about, but it would be great to express our gratitude to generous community members like Omar by supporting his restaurant.Another way that people have been supporting local restaurants is by pooling funds together from friends and neighbors, on a weekly basis, and ordering a certain number of meals from a restaurant and donating these to a shelter or to those in need. Let's find creative ways to support our local businesses during this challenging time.
