While my title is “storyteller”, I have coined a new word for myself, “storyseeker”: someone who gently uncovers the ordinary stories that make our life extraordinary.
I use the power of personal stories to bring people together, inspire kindness and service, and reveal a person’s true purpose. As a speaker, workshop leader, and writing partner, I help individuals and organizations find their stories and tell them with heart. And through my handmade books, I help preserve our most precious stories.
BOOKS
A handmade book of personal stories, with exquisite original artwork, to spark conversations around shared values: expressing gratitude, preserving traditions, and cherishing wisdoms from elders.
A hand-bound journal, enhanced by original artwork and Rumi’s poetry, to capture your own personal stories. A beautiful gift for yourself, your family, and future generations.
A unique book composed of reflections on love, loss, and life, collected from journals tucked under wooden benches in nature. A client project for Nature Sacred.
SHA STORYTELLING
I help individuals and organizations unearth their stories, hone and refine them, write and share them, and make sure they are communicated effectively—by delving deeper, listening closely, identifying the emotion and the inspiration, and chronicling with care.
Tell Your Story
Whether it’s a personal story, a family history, or your organisation’s story, I help you uncover it, shape it, write it, and share it with care and emotion.
Speaking
Stories that leave audiences feeling inspired, motivated, hopeful (and often in tears). Keynotes for conferences, organizations, and community events.
Workshops
Hands-on sessions where groups learn to find and share their own stories. Participants leave feeling closer to each other, with a new way of listening and collaborating.
I asked Dr. Abdul El-Sayed, the Democratic nominee for Senate in Michigan, about a wisdom from an elder that guides him.
